Ruth Awah, APRN, FNP-BC

CEO/COO and Co-Founder/Owner

Ruth Awah, APRN, FNP-BC is the CEO/COO and Co-Founder/Business Owner of AndroGenX. She is a graduate of Regis College, Weston, Massachusetts with a degree in Family Practice. Ruth is certified in Anti-Aging Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapies, Erectile Dysfunction, Acne Therapies, Weight Management, Dermal Filler, Botulinum Toxin and Facial Aesthetic through the Empire Medical Training group. Ruth is also certified and trained in Penile Electro-Acoustic Wave Therapy.

Ruth is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. She is recognized by the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Pi Epsilon at-Large Chapter.

In 2019, Ruth became a member of, and was recognized by the “Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare” organization as a Top Nurse Practitioner, worldwide and was featured in the 2019 edition of “Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare” magazine.

Ruth has years of clinical experience in Hormone Replacement Therapies, Hormone Pellet Implants, Erectile Dysfunction Therapies (injectables, Acoustic Wave Therapy, Oral therapies, etc.), Acne Management and Weight loss Therapies. Ruth is passionate about patient care, patient safety and patient well being. With over 7 years of practice in the medical profession in the departments of management, leadership and direct patient care, Ruth understands the uniqueness of every patient as an individual and the importance of the need to look beyond the boundaries of “Cookie cutter” medicine; there is no “one size” that fits all, she often says.

Ruth is passionate about life, fitness and health. She loves helping people improve the quality of their lives and this is one of the many reasons why she enjoys going to work every day. When Ruth is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, being outdoors and volunteering to community service. Her favorite TV shows are “Survivor”, “The Amazing Race” and “American Ninja Warrior”. Ruth aspires to someday be a contestant on “Survivor” and the “Amazing Race”.
